Question:
Asked By Bill on July 30, 2012
Subject: Disney Junior
I know the beach is all about the sun and sand, but for late in the afternoon when you are getting ready to go out for night, does anyone know if Holgate/Beach Haven has the Disney Junion station? I have a 3 year old and I know it will keep her occupied while we are getting ready in the evening.

"Disney Junior" is on Comcast cable station #120 on LBI.

There is no way to tell if the house you are renting has Comcast - or that specific level of service that would include that channel.

Thank you so much for your reply....Greatly appreciate it.
I understand what you are saying about the tv package, as obviously, every homeowner can subscribe to something different...But at least I can start with that station...Thanks again...

If you are renting a house, find out if they have a DVD player. If so, bring a couple of her favorites (for over tired or cranky times). There is also a Redbox video rental in Murphy's Market.
The Beach Haven library has story time on WEd morning, I think at 10:30 for a nice, quieter time and the the Alliance for a Living Ocean does a puppet show at the Maritime Museum, I believe on Fridays. There is also a new Art Gallery (Gallery 101, maybe) that on a flyer I saw also indicated childrens art classes once a week. Stop in early in the week and pick up a flyer, a great option if there is a rainy day.
The Surflight Theater has live children's theater and of course the Showplace Ice Cream Parlor is not to be missed.
That is a great age to bring a preschooler!
