This is a one day pass that can be used Fri. Sat or Sun. from 12-7PM. The passes allow each person unlimited access to the entire water park, Flow Rider and golf course. Cost is $29.95 per person. Is it true that the Beach Movie Theater near the Acme is now closed for good and will be torn down? I read elseware that was happening and I hope it's not true with it being the only one left on LBI. That and am wondering if the new Acme is finally about to be built and a reason why the theater is supposedly about to be gone or if it is because of the hurricane at all?

Any thoughts on this year's festival?

I was disappointed.

While leaving the island yesterday,I noticed an atv in a pickup truck with a rent atv's signs all over the it. It was parked between Brant Beach and the beginning of Ship Bottom.
Are they going to allow atv's on the beach off season? Thats the impression I got.

The latest plans submitted to the Long Beach Township Land Use Board concerning the ACME market in Beach Haven Park has a brand new supermarket being built– but a teardown of the movie theater. There will no longer be a movie theater on LBI – something that hasn’t been the case for many, many decades.

Hi, long time visitor and first time seasonal renter here. Now that we've got a place on LBI for the entire summer, I'm going to miss all the pickup softball groups I play with back home. I know there are fields on LBI, but is there any semi-organized or pickup softball taking place regular that I can get in on? Thanks!

Hi, We will be living in North Beach all summer (June through end of August). I'm looking for an updated directory of classes/activities offered to teens for the summer, such as surfing lessons, pottery/art/painting, beading/jewelry, music, and/or other interesting fun classes to enroll in...however, I've scoured the internet and can't find a summary of classes for teens offered on LBI/area this summer. Please help!!! I have several friends also interested in signing their kids up for classes or activities. I do hope you can post a link...I've even looked in The Sandpaper, but maybe I missed a listing of all classes offered for teens this summer? Thanks, I hope you can help! Susan :)

"Summer is right around the corner!! The Beach Haven PTA is once again offering the Thundering Surf Water Park/Settlers Mill Golf Course Fun Day passes. This has been a successful fundraiser for the school for several years now. The Fun Day passes are $29.95 each. They can be used Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:30pm-7:30pm. The passes allow each person unlimited access to the entire water park, Flowrider, and 36 hole golf course. The Beach Haven PTA will earn $5 per ticket for all tickets purchased prior to Memorial Day weekend. After that weekend, the PTA only earns $4 per ticket so it is very important that you order your tickets prior to Memorial Day weekend. Tickets will still be available after that date but we would appreciate your early purchase.
A regular 2 hour admission to the water park is $27.95. One round of 18 hole golf if $10.00 totaling $37.95…what an all day bargain the Fun Pass is for $29.95!!!"

I know there are yoga classes offered on LBI. I was wondering if there was any classes offered in Beach Haven, where the classes would take place on the beach early in the morning?

we're going to lbi june 16-23 - are there a lot of places open at that time or is it still too early in the season

You know it's getting closer to summer when Mayor Gator of Fantasy Island Amusement Park offers this great deal as he does every year. It's the 1/2 price Pre-Season Token Sale! You get 120 tokens for $51. Available online March 31st till April 8th. (You will get a coupon book mailed to you that you redeem at the ride ticket booths.). Or you can pick them up in person at the Arcade - March 31st, April 1st and April 6th till April 15th.
The tokens don't expire and are good year after year,if you manage to have some leftover,that is!

Not really much of a question, but more of a "Thank You" to Beach Haven for Saturday night's Christmas music, carols and fellowship. Was this year's warm celebration the norm?

Does anybody know if there are any Halloween festivities on the island for the kiddies?

Is the Lyceum gym right over the causeway still open and is it in good condition? Thanks.
