Questions about WebMaster Notice, Comments
Thank you! posted on May 10, 2013
Thank you for removing all those recent ridiculous posts and barring the know-it-all, narcissistic poster who continuously bragged, bullied, and blustered his way through this forum. He shall not be missed. It's a shame that a select few try to ruin a good thing, but I'm glad to see you're on top of it.

Does anyone have information about damage in the bay block of 14th Street in Ship Bottom? My thoughts are with everyone who has an LBI connection.

Please remove offensive posts posted on May 22, 2009
There are certain posts in recent days, that were not only sexually offensive but also do not reflect the spirit of which this board was intended. Most members here are genuinely interested in helping others and promoting good will. These posts are not the usual, occasional, nonsensical troll comments and I hope that you will see fit to remove them. It's one thing when posters disagree and sometimes verbally attack each other, but these sexual innuendo -laden posts go beyond. One post was written by "nuppy" on May 21st attacks gays and mentally disabled and the another by "Dick Hetrz" om May 20th specifically makes sexual reference to another regular poster. Please read the posts and decide for yourself. I don't think this is the direction we want this forum, an official LBI site, headed.

DEP loses appeal of beachfront easement lawsuit posted on December 18, 2008
Well the rich oceanfront homeowners have won. Good bye LBI, the next big storm will take away the beach and the Island will start to disappear. Of course, these same people will ask for gov't help when their houses are destroyed.

Posting Problems posted on May 15, 2008
There is currently an "error message" that you get when trying to post a reply. You may think that your response didn't get posted - but it does. (Just trying to eliminate double and triple posts.) Check the question *first* to see if your post is there, before submitting again.

lbi.net domain name expired? posted on February 25, 2008
The lbi.net domain name seems to have expired - it gets you to a generic network solutions page and whois shows the status as "Pending Renewal or Deletion". lbinet.com on the other hand still works. Webguy is this a concious decision?

Adding New Pictures posted on November 6, 2007
Over the past week I have tried multiple times to add new pictures to the photo gallery. Everytime I do so, and hit submit, I receive error messages. I know people have recently requested to see new pictures, as there haven't been any new additions to the gallery lately. I would love to post many that I have taken over the past year, but can't until this problem is fixed.

WebMaster Notice posted on October 23, 2007
This Notice is posted by Paul J Neal, Webmaster of LBI.net. To Inform 3 users of this forum “You know who you are!!” that if you continues to abuse this site, I have the right to sue for damages and publish any and all information legally collected on those individuals.
That being said…
The problems are: Spamming “Posting random characters in multiple post” Abusing Others Users “Most of the Mahwah Post” Here is what really sucks. All 3 of those users are locals. Lets just say “LBI and Surrounding area” They connect through Comcast and Verizon I already know who they are.
I don’t know who first used the phrase “DON’T FEEDS THE TROLLS”. But, this phrase is absolutely correct. This is the reason I could not respond to the post. If I had, the problem would have been 10 times worse. I do delete post that are abusive.
In the last 8 weeks I’ve been capturing and collecting data on those users. If the abuse continues I will then publish any and all information I have about that user. Including but not limited to: Full Name, Full Address, Email Addresses, Phone Numbers and All Client and Server Variables.
If any of the 3 users would like to call a truce, just stop the abuse. To respond privately, Send Email to: webmaster@LBI.net Subject LBI.net ABUSE Or respond to this post and just say I was having fun or something. At least I will know its over.
