I am so nervous about Earl! Is anyone else preparing to evacuate?

Found a black lab last night running in the street, he came onto my porch and wanted to come in my house. I have a dog and couldn't let him in my house. Turned him over to LBT police last night. As of tonight, it appears he was not picked up. The name on the tag was 'Maggie Drill' listing a 973 phone number. If anyone knows a Maggie Drill, will you please pass along this information? The dog is with animal control now in Manahawkin.

For 11 years when we came to Harvey Cedars we could bring the dog to the beach for sunrise and sunset times, last year I was told I'd get a ticket, are dogs still not allowed ever on the beach?

Anyone like the new Nardis? Hows the food? Love Puppies still there?

Not really a question, more of an addendum or correction to the question about kennels on the island. While there are not any directly on the island, there are a couple within a short distance on the mainland(i.e. Tom's River, Barnegat. etc).

I saw a van parked near the 72 circle but did not get a phone number. I think it said Bed & Biscuit or Bark and Biscuit kennel. I googled and found one in Belle Mead NJ - is that the one advertised? I was hoping to bring my dogs there next year rather than pay for one at home. Thank you!

Does anyone know if there are beaches on LBI that do not allow small children? I heard they are discouraged in parts of Lovelyladies.

Hi, We are renting for the first time on LBI. We usually go to Avalon. I have read so much about LBI not being a place for dogs in the summer. My dog is part of my family and will be with me in my $10,000 a week rental. If LBI is a place for me, I feel it is a place for my dog. Can someone that likes dogs explain to me why I shouldn't bring her ?

LOOKING FOR PLACE OFF SEASON TO RENT FOR THE WEEKEND THAT ALLOWS A DOG BUT DOESN'T SMELL LIKE DOGS!

Looking for a summer 2009 rental. Lots af availability. Is it better to go directly thru owner hoping for price reduction or will rental agengies work with you as summer draws near and there are alot of openings?
