What exactly is Crust and Crumb? Are they a pie bakery or do they also have good donuts and baked breakfast items? I see people have been comparing it to Dunkin Donuts, which I don't particularly like, by the way.

How come Long Beach Blvd does not hold a record for being the longest main street with a dead end on both ends? Elm Street in Manchester does when it is only 3.4 miles and the boulevard is 18.

$350 million project announced for Route 72 bridge onto Long Beach Island...

State officials announced long-awaited plans Wednesday to rehabilitate the bridge on the Route 72 Manahawkin Bay Causeway, which is the only access point into Long Beach Island.
The $350 million project will include building a new bridge parallel to the existing one and then making improvements on the current structure, which was built in 1960.
The new structure will be safer for motorists and include a bikeway for bicyclists and pedestrians and increase the capacity of people to travel onto and off the island.
Assemblyman Brian Rumpf, R-Ocean, Atlantic, Burlington, said the project will placed out for bid today and construction could start this year. The project could be fully complete by 2020.

What this island really needs is a dependable jitney service. I know they had the coach bus for the last few years and I think it was $10 p/p all day. Does anyone know how that worked out?

It's Homer Simpson from the Simpsons and I'm taking my family to Long Beach Island from Springfield if we can figure out how to get there! Anyone have any advice and know the best way to go to LBI from where we live? The only problem is we don't know exactly how far LBI is from the state we live in and no one else seems to know which state we're in! D'OH!

I LOVE spending weekends in Barnegat Light and would like to stay until as late as possible on Sunday, but I don't want to get stuck in GSP traffic going home. When is the best time to make my getaway? Early afternoon, late afternoon, after dinner, after 10:00pm???

Why is Long Beach Blvd one way at the intersection with Route 72?

This is actually 2 requests. I have someone taking a bus from NYC to Toms River. Then taking another bus to Manahawkin. Does anyone know where the Manahawkin stop is so I can pick them up? Has anyone used a better way getting back to the city(Penn Station or grand central)? Thanks

Hi, I am coming to Beach Haven for my vacation very soon. I want to know if anybody on here has used the LBI Dial A Ride Trolley Bus Transportation. The one where you pay $10 and they pick you up and take you to where you would like to go. I am not talking about the Atlantic City run which I know they do every day. The bus service that gets you around the island. Has anybody used this? What was your experience with it? Thanks.
