I am very concerned to know the safety and whereabouts of my distant cousin who lives in W. 17th Street, Ship Bottom because of the recent storms. Worryingly, the usual Xmas communication has not been received here, in UK.

The erstwhile Spray Beach Wawa cashier is going to board Patrick Moeller's Eagle One RV on Friday for a trip to watch the Eagles play the Browns this Sunday. He is genuinely excited about it. Good journey Michael! Go Birds!

Wouldld love to find a way for my 14 year old daughter to meet some friends. She is a bit shyer. And I think too young for teen night.

I have been going to LBI since I was 3 years old. I now have a family and we rent a house every year for a week as we did then. This year we stayed on Mississippi ave., and as usual the week was great. The last day, after cleaning the rental house, we decided to spend the day at the beach. It was a perfect day, until my wife said that a woman sitting behind us was making comments about "renters". Basically this woman was getting her self upset to the point where she had decided to create her own little country and establish a border using her childrens boogie boards. I turned around and saw this womans version of pre WWII Germany and politley asked my wife to ignore such nonsene. My wife decided that such a person would not ruin her last day on this beach and picked up her chair and moved. I am not this way, i will allow a woman like this to bitch all she wants to, after all LBI is not her island, and further more if not for us "renters" she would'nt have her little island to enjoy. My question is who do people like this womwan think they are ? You should advise the local home owners to keep their mouths shut. All I have to say to this woman is....come on Irene.

I am a single person, who loves LBI, goes there frequently, but yet has no-one to hang-out with, as I am alone. Is there anything available for over 40 single people to meet?

Last night on Craig Ferguson (late night national talkshow), Ray Romano was a guest and they both talked about how they love spending time on Long Beach Island. Good national spotlight.

Is it true that Teresa from Housewives of New Jersey has a house on LBI. Does anyone know where it is? I guess we should just assume that it's the most over the top, overdone house around.

I am searching for some old friends. I unfortunatley can't remember their last names. I was a roommate with Irene until I married and moved to Barnegat Light. Also any friends that I used to attend Manahawkin Baptist Church with and the teen group from that church back in the 90s. Is there anyone out there?
