Brant Beach
History

Just as Henry McLaughlin decided to find a small community called North Beach Haven, William Hewitt changed the name of his development of Waverly Beach to North Beach Haven. So, McLaughlin decided to name his small community after the small geese that were attracted to the area's bayside cove. Brant Beach was established in 1909.

It was the first development on Long Beach Island that offered electricity to its home owners. It also had its own well and water tower.
