Beach Haven Terrace History
The Manahawkin and Long Beach Railroad was built in 1886 but is now gone. The train would occationally stop near U.S. Life Saving Station No. 117, also called the Long Beach Station, to drop off supplies.
In 1907, three members of the Fidelity Land Company of Philadelphia, built a proper train station, and the small community of Beach Haven Terrace grew up around it.
